Program Goal:

Coordinate the development of the City’s budget and maintain corporate financial control over budget implementation in order to support sound management of fiscal resources to achieve City goals.

 Program Activities:

1. Budget Development- Coordinate the budget process to support the Mayor in preparing the Recommended Budget and the Court of Common Council in preparing an Adopted Budget in order to ensure financial stability by balancing service demands with available resources
2. Financial Analysis/Reporting- Monitor department expenditures and fund transfers and maintain position control in order to ensure compliance with the adopted budget and City financial management policies
